This Acceptable Use Policy describes activities that are not allowed on Submio. It applies to anyone who uses the product — recruiters signed up for accounts, hiring managers reviewing candidates via public links, and visitors to the marketing site. By using Submio you agree to follow this policy.
We keep this short because the principle is simple: use Submio for its intended purpose — moving real candidates through a real hiring loop — and treat candidates, hiring managers, and other recruiters with the same respect you would in any professional setting.
Do not submit fictional candidates, AI-generated personas, fabricated resumes, or fake LinkedIn profiles. Do not misrepresent a candidate's skills, employment history, qualifications, salary expectations, or availability. Do not submit a candidate without their knowledge or consent.
Do not use the product to send threatening, harassing, or discriminatory messages to candidates, hiring managers, or other users. Do not use it to expose someone's personal information without consent. Do not target candidates based on protected characteristics in violation of applicable employment law.
Do not use Submio to send unsolicited commercial messages. Do not scrape data from the product through the UI, the API, or via automated agents. Do not share review links publicly (on social media, in public Slack workspaces, etc.) — review links are designed for a specific hiring manager, not for broadcast.
Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Submio infrastructure without permission. Do not attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access. Do not bypass rate limits or other controls.
If you find a security issue, please report it to security@gosubmio.com — we appreciate responsible disclosure and will not pursue legal action against good-faith researchers who follow standard responsible disclosure practice.
Do not upload, store, or share content through Submio that is unlawful, defamatory, infringes someone else's intellectual property, contains malware, or constitutes child sexual abuse material. We will report CSAM to the appropriate authorities and terminate the account without notice.
Do not reverse-engineer Submio, remove proprietary notices, or build a competing product from our codebase or product output. Do not resell or sublicense access to the product. Do not white-label the product without an explicit reseller agreement with us.
Submio is a candidate submission portal for professional recruiting. Do not use it to coordinate political campaigns, run sales pipelines unrelated to hiring, manage non-employment relationships, or do anything else that materially deviates from the intended use case. If you are not sure whether your use case is okay, ask us before you start.
We take action proportional to the violation:
If you believe a Submio user has violated this policy — for example, you are a candidate who was submitted without your consent, or a hiring manager who received a review link from someone you have not worked with — email us at abuse@gosubmio.com with as much detail as you can share. We investigate every report and we will let you know what we found.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes we will notify users via email and update the “Last updated” date at the top.
