Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Submio.

These terms govern your use of Submio, an AI recruiting workflow tool operated by RemoteBridge. By creating an account or using the product, you agree to these terms.

1. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to use Submio on behalf of yourself or your organization. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Submio to send unsolicited bulk email or anything that violates anti-spam law (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, or your local equivalent).
  • Send harassing, defamatory, or unlawful messages to candidates or anyone else.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data, the underlying infrastructure, or third-party systems we connect to.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the product.
  • Use connected email accounts in ways that violate the email provider's own terms (Google, Microsoft, etc.).

3. Your data

You retain all rights to the candidate data, role context, and other content you upload to Submio. You grant us a limited license to process this data only to provide and improve the product as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Connected services

When you connect a Gmail account, Lemlist account, or any other external service, you authorize Submio to interact with that service on your behalf within the scopes you grant. You can revoke access at any time from Submio's settings or directly with the service provider.

Submio's use of data received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Service availability

We work to keep Submio available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

6. Termination

You can cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are involved in abusive behavior. On termination, we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer and liability

Submio is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RemoteBridge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the product. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will notify users of material changes via email and update the “Last updated” date above.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
