Getting started with Submio

The full first-time loop in five minutes — sign in, add a client, open a role, submit a candidate, share the review link.

Submio is a candidate submission portal for independent recruiters. You build a submission — resume, scorecard, video clips, evaluation — and share a single public link with the hiring manager. The HM reviews without logging in. You watch their reactions land on your dashboard in real time.

The five-minute first run

Once your account is provisioned, the dashboard shows a getting-started checklist. Each step ticks itself off the moment you complete the underlying action — no "mark as done" button to forget.

  • Add your first client — one row per engagement. Roles and submissions hang off it.
  • Open a role under that client. Set the scorecard and pipeline stages once; every submission to this role uses them.
  • Submit a candidate — paste the LinkedIn URL, fill the scorecard, attach resume and clips.
  • Share the review link. The HM clicks it, no sign-up required.

Tip

The checklist disappears on its own once all four steps are complete. Nothing to dismiss.

What you see after the first review

The moment the HM does anything on the review page — drops a sentiment, moves a stage, asks a question — the dashboard activity feed updates and the corresponding submission moves out of "awaiting HM" on the pipeline rollup.

If a submission goes seven days without any HM action, it shows up in the "stuck submissions" card so you can nudge.
