Submitting a candidate
What goes into a great submission, what is optional, and how the HM experience changes based on what you include.

A submission is the artifact your hiring manager reviews. The more complete it is, the faster they make a call.
Required fields
- Candidate full name — used in the HM review page heading and in your dashboard activity feed.
- LinkedIn URL — the HM can open the profile in a new tab from the review page header.
- Scorecard ratings on whatever attributes you defined when opening the role.
Strongly recommended
- A short why-great-fit narrative. Two or three sentences. This is the only place the HM hears your voice — make it count.
- Resume (PDF). Renders inline on the review page.
- One or two short video clips from your screening call. The brief recommends 60–90 seconds each. Clips are the single biggest driver of HM response speed.
Optional
- Candidate email — required only if you want the HM to be able to draft an email to the candidate from the review page.
- Salary / availability notes.
