White-label recruiter portal
A white-label recruiter portal is a candidate review surface that displays the recruiter's or agency's brand instead of the underlying SaaS vendor's. Hiring managers see the recruiter's logo, colors, and identity; the vendor either fades to a small footer mark or disappears entirely.
Short definition
A white-label recruiter portal is a candidate review surface that displays the recruiter's or agency's brand — logo, accent color, tagline — instead of the underlying SaaS vendor's brand. Hiring managers see the recruiter's identity on every page they review. Most recruiting platforms gate this behind enterprise pricing tiers ($400+/seat/month); a few standalone tools ship it on prosumer plans.
When a recruiter shares a candidate submission with a hiring manager via a SaaS review portal, the page that opens carries some kind of branding. By default, that branding is the SaaS vendor's. A white-label deployment swaps it for the recruiter's or agency's own.
Why this matters
Recruiters operating above a certain fee tier — senior IC placements, executive search, retained engagements — pitch clients with an implicit expectation that the recruiter is operating at a comparable scale. A consumer-grade tool with someone else's mark on every page they share works against that expectation. The hiring manager reads it, consciously or not, as a sign that the recruiter is small enough to need rented infrastructure.
For solo recruiters and small agencies, this is the gap between 'looks like a freelancer' and 'looks like a firm.' At higher placement fees, that perception can be the difference in winning the deal.
Industry pricing pattern
Most recruiting platforms gate white-labeling at the enterprise tier ($400+/seat/month and up). Greenhouse Premium, Lever Enterprise, Recruiterflow Premium, and Candidately's enterprise plan all follow this pattern. A few standalone tools ship logo + color customization on $30-50/month plans, which is meaningfully more accessible for solo recruiters and small agencies.
Where Submio fits
Submio ships logo + accent color + display name + tagline on the Pro plan ($39/month flat). A small "Powered by Submio" line stays in the footer. Full white-label with custom subdomain ships with the Team plan (Q3 2026 waitlist), which is targeted at agencies running multiple recruiter seats.
