Fixes for the handful of things that go wrong most often — login, review links, email handoff, missing notifications.
I forgot my password
On the sign-in page, click "Forgot password?" and enter your email. The reset link arrives within a minute. If it does not, check spam, then write to support — we can issue a manual reset.
My HM says the review link doesn't work
Three possibilities, in descending order of likelihood:
- The submission was archived. Re-open it from the role view and re-share the URL.
- The HM is opening the link in a browser that's blocking third-party cookies. Ask them to try a different browser or open the link in incognito.
- The token in the URL got truncated by their email client. Re-copy the URL and re-paste it into a fresh message.
Email candidate button doesn't open my mail client
The HM-side button uses a mailto: link, which most browsers hand off to the system's default mail client. If nothing opens, the HM's browser may have no default mail handler set, or they're using a webmail-only setup. They can right-click the button → Copy email address, then paste it into Gmail/Outlook manually. Future versions will offer a fallback copy-to-clipboard mode.
I'm not seeing HM activity notifications
Notifications are enabled by default. If they've stopped showing up, check the bell icon in the top-right of any app page — unread notifications show a count. Activity also lands in the dashboard's "Recent activity" feed; if that's also empty for more than a day after an HM should have engaged, write to support.
Heads up
Submio does not yet send email notifications for HM activity. The in-app bell and the dashboard feed are the two surfaces today. Email notifications ship in V2.
